Checklist
What you’ll need
Have these ready before you open the form. The application uploads files, so save each document as a PDF first.
-
Personal statement / essay
Tell us about yourself — your sport, your goals, and what dedication, leadership, and resilience have looked like in your life.
-
Two letters of recommendation
At least one must come from a coach or teacher. Ask early — give your recommenders at least two weeks.
-
Your résumé
Athletics, activities, work, volunteering, honors. One page is fine.
The form will also ask for
- Your name and contact details
- Your current school and the sports programs you’ve participated in
- Your GPA and class rank
- The college or program you plan to attend
You’ll need to be signed in to a Google account to upload your documents.
What happens next
After you apply
The board reviews every complete application after the deadline. Recipients are announced and honored at the scholarship presentation in March — you and your family are invited.

I’m Madison Wick, a grateful Rego Scholarship recipient. It helped me thrive in college, where I study neuroscience, maintained all A’s, and continued competitive swimming. I broke 4 CSU records and swam at Nationals. Thank you for supporting my academic and athletic journey!
